When you book Amino Electrical for our standard $49 (Mon–Fri) or $88 (Sat) travel fee, you aren't just paying for a person to show up. You are getting a no-obligation Home Safety Inspection at no extra cost.
We believe in earning the right to do business. That's why, as part of our service today, we complete a complimentary safety audit to identify anything that might:

- ✓Spike your utility bills unnecessarily
There's no obligation to act on the findings. The inspection is yours — and if you do choose to address anything, we'll give you a priority quote.

What the Complimentary Safety Audit Covers
As part of every standard call-out, we check the six highest-risk electrical areas in a Queensland home — at no extra charge.
Switchboard Condition
We check for ceramic fuses, overloaded circuits, damaged breakers, poor labelling, and signs of heat damage or arcing inside the enclosure.
Safety Switch Coverage
We test every safety switch (RCD) on your board to confirm it trips within the required time — and identify any circuits that have no protection.
Smoke Alarm Compliance
We check alarm type (photoelectric required in QLD), placement, interconnection, power source and expiry dates against current Queensland legislation.
Lighting & Downlights
We flag halogen downlights that may be creating heat risks in the ceiling space and note any LED fittings that appear faulty or incorrectly installed.
Visible Wiring & Outlets
A visual inspection of all accessible power points, light switches, and visible wiring for signs of damage, deterioration, or DIY electrical work.
EV & Solar Readiness
We note whether your switchboard has capacity for future EV charger or solar inverter installation — and what would be needed to make it ready.
About the Travel Fee
$49 — Mon to Fri (Business Hours)
Our standard travel fee applies for all call-outs booked during standard business hours, Monday to Friday. This covers our travel to your property and the complimentary safety inspection.
$88 — Saturdays (If Requested)
If you need a Saturday appointment and one is available, an $88 travel fee applies in place of the standard $49 rate. This is still far below most emergency after-hours rates.
No Obligation
The travel fee covers the visit and the safety inspection. There is no obligation to proceed with any recommended work. Any additional work is quoted separately and approved by you first.
Credited to Your Job
When you proceed with the electrical work quoted on the day, the travel fee is factored into the overall job price — you're not paying double for the same visit.
