ChargePoint is one of the world's largest EV charging networks. Their Home Flex is a flexible 7.2kW (Level 2) home charger — app-controlled, works with all EVs via Type 2 connector, and features adjustable amperage to suit older wiring. Brisbane installation by licensed electricians.

The ChargePoint Home Flex is a Level 2 home EV charger delivering up to 7.2kW of charging power — enough to fully charge most EVs overnight. It connects via a universal Type 2 connector, making it compatible with virtually every electric vehicle on the Australian market.
What sets the Home Flex apart is its adjustable amperage (16A to 50A) — ideal for homes where the existing wiring can't support a full 32A or 40A circuit. The ChargePoint app gives you scheduling, energy cost tracking, and access to ChargePoint's public network with a single account.
Key points
Our technicians carry a wide range of spare parts and fix most faults on the spot.
A standard portable EV charger on a power point delivers just 2.0–2.4kW. That's 8–12 hours for even a modest range top-up. The ChargePoint Home Flex delivers up to 7.2kW — roughly 3x faster.
Most basic chargers give you no insight into how much each session is costing. The ChargePoint app tracks energy usage and cost per session so you know exactly what your EV charging adds to your bill.
Plugging in at peak tariff times costs more than it should. The ChargePoint Home Flex lets you schedule charging to start at your cheapest off-peak window automatically.
Time-of-use electricity plans can significantly reduce charging costs, but only if your charger can respond to them. ChargePoint's scheduling allows you to align charging with your cheapest tariff periods.
If you need to track EV charging across multiple vehicles or locations, most home chargers can't help. ChargePoint's network integration lets business users manage and report on charging sessions via the cloud.
Many Brisbane homes need a switchboard assessment before a dedicated EV circuit can be installed. We check your board, confirm capacity and carry out any required upgrades as part of the installation.
Up to 7.2kW means most EV drivers will wake up to a full battery every morning — even with a large battery pack like the 77kWh Hyundai IONIQ 5 or 100kWh Tesla Model S.
Set a daily charging schedule in the ChargePoint app so your EV charges during the cheapest tariff window — without having to remember to plug in at the right time.
Every charging session is logged with energy used and estimated cost. Over time you build a clear picture of your EV's charging habits and impact on your electricity bill.
The Home Flex uses a universal Type 2 socket — compatible with Tesla (via adapter), BYD, Hyundai, Kia, MG, Polestar, Volvo, Audi, BMW and every other EV sold in Australia.
Set the Home Flex anywhere from 16A to 50A to match your home's circuit capacity. If your wiring can only support a 20A circuit today, you can upgrade later without replacing the charger.
Your ChargePoint account works on the public ChargePoint network across Australia and internationally — one app, one account for home and away.

We supply and install the ChargePoint Home Flex, including wall mounting, cable routing and app commissioning. Upfront pricing before we start.
A dedicated circuit is run from your switchboard to the charger location — correctly sized for the amperage you've chosen (typically 32A or 40A).
A Type A RCBO is installed at the switchboard for earth leakage and overcurrent protection — required under Australian wiring rules for EV charger circuits.
We route cable neatly from the switchboard to the charger, using conduit where required. Internal and external walls, garage and outdoor locations all catered for.
An isolation switch is mounted adjacent to the ChargePoint unit for safe isolation — compliant with AS/NZS 3000 wiring rules.
A Certificate of Test (Form 4) is issued on completion — required for insurance, warranty and property records.
